Hi, my name is Jennifer Sims. I am currently a registered mental health counselor intern soon to be fully licensed. I am excited to be part of the Ellie Mental Health team. I have been in the field for over a decade and have had the opportunity to work in several levels of care including crisis stabilization, IOP, and outpatient. My clinical strengths are EMDR (Eye movement desensitization reprocessing), trauma therapy that includes mindfulness, CBT (Cognitive behavior therapy), and DBT (Dialectical behavior therapy).
I am available to work with children, adolescents, adults, and those that struggle with substance use disorder. I have an authentic and compassionate approach in order to provide a safe space for clients.
